Title: Head - Business Development & Market Linkages Fresh Produce (Agrowon Smart Village)
Work Location: Pune
Reporting to: CEO, Agrowon Smart Villages
- Acquire new key accounts in retail, wholesalers, exporters, catering, and hospitality sector etc. in domestic market.
- Develop long-term partnerships & alliances with targeted accounts that result in increased sales and margins
- Execute channel sales strategy to assure strategic alignment with the business overarching strategic plan
- Monitor, control and maintain product allocations and pricing strategy
- Achieve retail & food service sales volume, revenue and profitability goals for the assigned territories
- Explore export market linkages to supply fresh produce
- Daily coordination: Inform, update and provide feedback to Procurement team and senior management
- Daily and weekly reports (quality, sales, inventory, pricing, work orders, etc.).
- Provide market leading customer service
- Monitor and report on competitive activity
- Required Experience, Skills and Abilities
- 6+ years selling experience within the Fruit and Vegetables sector , preferable with Agriculture education background
- Business-to-business sales experience; strong general business capabilities, P&L management
- Existing extensive network of customers
- Ability to work independently and deliver results
- Good communication (i.e. oral and written) and leadership skills

About Agrowon Smart Villages
With a number of uncertainties and risks prevailing in agriculture businesses, large number of farmers are leaving their farmlands and migrating to cities for work.
